Will be held at a mutually agreed-upon time. Private or small group (with 1 - 4 students) lessons are $40. / class.
FREE CLASSES
• One parent may observe each enrolled child FREE of CHARGE
• Those paid-up for the semester, are welcome to attend ANY NUMBER OF EXTRA lessons at NO CHARGE.
WHY?
More than one exposure to Italian per week is preferable when acquiring a new language.
Once you've made the commitment, the free extra lessons encourage you to attend more frequently.
This boosts your chances of success and puts your learning into super speed mode.
PLACEMENT
• Beginner- those who are new to Italian or unsure if they recall Italian previously studied. Does NOT require any previous Italian study.
• Intermediate- those who can put together sentences even hesitantly and incorrectly in limited situations, those who can express themselves with some facility and some degree of correctness in various situations.
• Advanced- those who are looking for a greater degree of fluency and want to practice and perfect their Italian.

The ADULT LEVEL TEXTBOOK CLASS is a structured approach using a highly regarded college textbook which, among other innovations includes subtitled video soap operas that illuminate words and concepts introduced. Also: electronic talking flash cards for computer or hand-held device.
The interactive textbook (additional charge) pronounces all new words for you and the user-friendly computer workbook gives you clues, multiple chances and corrects your assignments on the spot!
The ADULT LEVEL CONVERSATION CLASS while less academically structured than the textbook class, delivers a vast, ever-expanding vocabulary of the most common words and expressions in the Italian language. You will develop an ear and a tongue for the beautiful Italian language, as well as learn those crucial travel phrases. This enjoyable class also employs unique entertaining computer enhanced on-screen visuals, occasional Italian TV excerpts, popular and traditional Italian songs, subtitled Italian cooking and more on giant interactive touch-screen SmartBoard.
THE INSTRUCTOR
• Trained at three Italian universities (Firenze, Perugia and Siena) in addition to having received degrees from UB and Buffalo State Colleges.
• Trained in language teaching by Berlitz master teachers from France, and was employed by Berlitz in Italy to teach English.
• Instructed Italian at all levels for nearly 40 years with multiple awards and honors, local, state and national. Has NYS and Montessori Teaching Certification.
• Taught Italian at Buffalo State College and Daemen Colleges. • Has directed children's Italian summer camps at Nazareth College in Rochester for 20 years, and since 2009 in Western New York
• Skilled in all learning styles. Teacher of adults and children since 1974.
FEES
$100 - Per person for the semester • Class meets weekly from October 5th to December 16th (Full semester's tuition is due before the first lesson). Remember all enrolled adult-level students may attend any or all adult-level classes that semester at no additional cost.
